We first met around the age of 13 years old. We didn't know much about each other other than having mutual friends. I personally remember seeing one another at assembly halls with quick hellos and short conversations.

As the years went by, Marcos was gone for while, and I did not see him for quite some time. But around that time, I became really good friends with his younger brother Lalo.

The year 2019, Marcos came back and I remember that day as if it was yesterday. We were at a party, and Lalo came in with a huge smile and Marcos was right behind him. More of his closest friends jumped and rushed to him to give him a hug and saying how much they missed him and were so happy to see him come back.

I was not really acquainted to him, other than the few words we've said to each other, I did not know too much about him. But since being friends with Lalo, he started to bring Marcos along when a bunch of our friends would go out to the movies, park, play pool and other activities. From there, we started to talk and get to know each other more and more. Immediately we became great friends. But the more time we spent together, the more we talked, we started to realize that our feelings for each other started to grow. But we were in denial and kept it to ourselves.

Evidently the feelings were there, even our friends started to notice. The biggest giveaway was when we would all go out as a group, either one of us was searching for the other to be next to one another. We had long conversations, laughters, (and we admit... the flirting.. lol) we had a lot of fun hanging out. But we still kept our feelings a secret.

Around early 2020, Marcos opened up to me about his feelings and did not want this relationship to be fun and games. If my feelings for him were reciprocated, then he wanted to take the next step. And I obviously agreed.

As time went by, on August 21st 2020, asked me to be his girlfriend! Regardless that we were official as a couple, he was still my best friend. We have the best of times, even if we were just at home watching movies, playing video games, traveling, and our bible studies together building a strong and closer relationship to Jehovah.

We dated for 3 years and on Februrary 3rd 2024, Marco finally asked me to marry him 😁 and in the cutest way. He knew i have a soft spot for Winnie the Pooh, and used him to propose to me. Oh and I said YES! Have 6 months to get everything ready, which has been stressful for the both of us but having fun every step of the way. 🥰
